Mixed Moonstone and Garden Quartz Bracelet

A stretch bracelet of about 25 round beads that shift from milky white at the top to clear and smoky-grey toward the bottom. Two kinds of beads stand out:

  • Milky white beads (top): These look like white moonstone. A few show a faint blue-silver glow, which is the sheen moonstone is known for. The sheen shifts across the surface as you tilt the bead under light. dakotastones
  • Clear beads with green and dark streaks (bottom): These look like garden quartz (lodolite). That’s clear quartz with chlorite, feldspar and other mineral inclusions inside. The green wisps in several beads match that look. The inclusions can form patterns that resemble gardens, which is where the name comes from.
